Hammer of the Dwarvish Lords

The hammer of dwarvish lords, also known as the hammer of creation or the soul hammer, is an ancient and holy relic of terrifying magical power.

In the hands of a dwarf, the weapon acts as a dwarven thrower, a mace of shattering and a mace of disruption. The weapon can elongate with a command, functioning as a maul. The bearer of the Hammer also gains the benefits of the belt of dwarvenkind if they are a dwarf.

In addition, a dwarf that is wielding this hammer gains the following effects:

  • Change Strength score to 23 (if it is less than 23 normally).
  • Gain immunity to the frightened condition.
  • Gain advantage on saving throws against spells.
  • Regain 10 hit points at the start of your turn. If you take acid or fire damage, this trait doesn’t function at the start of the dwarf’s next turn. The dwarf dies only if they start their turn with 0 hit points and do not regenerate.
  • Gain the ability to cast haste once per day.

The hammer is the most sacred relic of the dwarven people. Any non-dwarf that attempts to wield it must make a DC 19 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target suffers the full effects of the disintegrate spell.
