Hat of Snow Constructs

Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement)

This seemingly plain hat animates a snowman if placed atop its head, transforming it into a snow construct. The creature is friendly to you and your companions. It understands your languages and obeys your spoken commands. If you issue no commands, the creature defends itself but takes no other actions.

As long as the hat of snow constructs remains on the head of the snowman, it remains animate. Should the hat be removed or the snow construct die, the hat of snow constructs falls to the ground and the snow construct collapses into a normal pile of snow. Once used to animate a snowman, the hat of snow constructs cannot be used again to do so for seven days.
