Inspector’s Bullhorn

Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)

This open-ended trumpet of horn bound with gold is mounted with a small handle to make it easy to carry. It amplifies the wielder’s voice, granting all creatures within a 60-foot cone advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks to hear their voice. The wielder’s voice also becomes a stern voice of authority, granting him advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks against creatures in a 60-foot cone when speaking through the bullhorn. If the wielder uses a thunder effect within the 60-foot cone toward which he is pointing the bullhorn, the save DC of the effect is increased by 1, and if it deals thunder damage that damage is increased by 1 point per die.

Three times per day, the wielder can issue a command (DC 17) to up to 5 creatures within the cone. brief magical command to creatures within the 60-foot cone, with effects as the spell. Rather than issuing one of the standard command effects, the wielder can instead command all creatures within the cone to show themselves. Unless they succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom save, creatures cannot use the Hide action for 1 round. If already hidden, they reveal themselves, dismissing invisibility, blink, gaseous form, and similar effects. If already visible, they must move their best speed towards the wielder.

Unlike a standard command spell, creatures can be affected for multiple rounds. Affected creatures can attempt a new saving throw each round at the end of their turn to end the effect, and the DC is reduced by 1 for each round after the first. If the wielder issues a new command, the previous effect ends for all creatures, even if they are no longer in the area.
