Nightwatch Crossbow

This +1 heavy crossbow is crafted from dark ebony wood and has the image of an eye flanked by two crescent moons carved onto each limb. An enchanted piece of circular glass is attached to the bridge of a nightwatch crossbow, allowing the wielder to peer through it while wielding the crossbow and see living creatures up to 120 feet away as though he had darkvision. This does not reveal invisible creatures and the wielder must still succeed at a Perception check to notice hidden creatures, but the nightwatch crossbow negates any bonus or advantage a creature might gain on Dexterity (Stealth) checks due to darkness.

Once per day, a nightwatch crossbow may fire a bolt that bursts into daylight after it hits a target creature or 5-ft. square. This daylight persists for 1 hour.
