Pamitl of Combat Coordination

Wondrous item, rare

Brightly colored feathers adorn the top of this lightweight wooden pole that is strapped to your back. While you carry the pamitl in this manner, you can use a bonus action on your turn to cause its feathers to instantly shift places. Each companion within 60 feet who can see you and has not yet taken a turn in combat may swap their place in the initiative order with another affected companion for the remainder of the combat. For example, if your companions rolled a 17, 13, and 10 on their initiative checks and have not yet taken a turn in combat, you can use this feature to allow them to rearrange which of them acts on initiative count 17, initiative count 13, and initiative count 10. A creature cannot take a turn on more than one initiative count nor take more than one turn in a round. The pamitl cannot be used this way again until the next dawn.
