Percipient Pearl Earrings

While wearing these pearl-drop earrings, you have advantage on all Wisdom (Perception) checks involving sound. Additionally, when within the area of effect of a silence spell, you can still cast spells with a verbal component and can choose to ignore the deafening effect of the spell.

Once per long rest, you can also perform each of the following magical effects:

• Listen to any conversation within 500 feet with perfect clarity and fidelity by pressing both pearls with two fingers.
• Record 1 minute of a nearby conversation by pressing the left earring with two fingers as a bonus action. The conversation can be played back for up to 24 hours by pressing the right earring with two fingers. You decide if only you can hear the recording or if it can be heard by anyone within 10 feet.

Both effects can be activated at the same time, if desired.
