Portable Waterworks

Wondrous item, common

The outside of this wooden bucket is crusted with thick stone, and it bears a wooden lid. When placed right-side up on the ground and activated with a command word, the stone separates, shapes, and grows into a round, covered well that is 5 feet wide and 10 feet tall, with a 30-ft.-deep extradimensional pit underneath. The well continuously casts create water underneath it until the water in the pit reaches 20 feet deep. When deactivated with a different command word, all contents of the pit are deposited harmlessly on the surface. If placed somewhere it does not have room to grow to its full size, the portable waterworks does not activate; its growth cannot harm a creature.

If portable waterworks is placed upside down on the ground and activated with a command word, the stone will separate, grow, and shape into a 10-ft.- wide fountain with a 5-ft.-tall basin. The fountain will continuously cast create water until the basin is full, and it will consistently shoot a jet of water from the center 30 feet into the air. When deactivated with a different command word, all contents of the basin are deposited harmlessly on the ground.
