Delicately carved letters and symbols spell out the alphabets of four random languages around the inside of this silver ring. The wearer gains the ability to read and understand the four languages whose alphabets are inscribed on the ring.

Curse. The ring is cursed, a fact that is revealed only when an identify spell is cast on it or you attune to it. Attuning to the ring curses you until you are targeted by the remove curse spell or similar magic; removing the ring fails to end the curse. Once attuned to the ring, you find yourself stuttering, stammering, and slurring words together, gaining disadvantage on all Charisma ability checks. Additionally, you become deafened and when you attempt to cast a spell with verbal components, the spell has a 20% chance of failing, wasting the spell slot.
