Rod, legendary (requires attunement by a sorcerer)

While wielding this ornate ruby and silver rod, the wielder can use this rod to cast any spell from the sorcerer spell list, even if you do not know it. Instead of using a spell slot, you expend a number of points from your sorcery pool equal to the spell level. You can instead cast a spell from the wizard spell list instead of the sorcerer list, at an additional cost of 1 point from the sorcery pool. The spell must be of a level you can cast. The spell is otherwise cast as normal. You must complete a long rest before using this function again.

The rod also can be wielded as a mace, using the blunt end, or as a dagger if using the sharpened end. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with either end of this magic weapon, and you can expend 1 point from your sorcery pool as a free action to gain advantage on your attack roll.
