Roperunner’s Cord

Wondrous item, uncommon

This 50-foot line of braided rope and leather helps you to keep your balance, especially in the kinds of precarious and unstable conditions you find aboard a ship at sea. If you have to make a saving throw or ability check to avoid falling (including both falling prone and falling from a height), as a reaction you can gain advantage on that saving throw or check as long as the roperunner’s cord is in your hand, as it reflexively wraps itself around nearby hard points to try to hold you up. As a bonus action, you commanded to knot or un-knot itself at any point along its length.

As an action, you can command the roperunner’s cord to weave itself into a pair of soft sandals. While wearing these, you gain advantage on Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks while aboard a ship.

You can use an action to uncoil the sandals back into the form of a 50-foot rope.
