Safety Shell

Wondrous item, uncommon

Over the course of a short rest, you can choose one willing beast with a CR of 0 and pair the safety shell with the creature. When the creature drops to 0 hit points as a result of taking damage, the creature is absorbed into the safety shell and has the spell spare the dying cast on it. The creature remains in the shell for 24 hours or until you release it as a bonus action. The safety shell can only be paired with one beast at a time.
