Prized by paladins, this shield is inscribed with the names of seven virtues: humility, diligence, courage, temperance, generosity, kindness, and peace.

While you hold this shield, you have a +2 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield’s normal bonus to AC. You cannot be charmed, frightened, or possessed, and you have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects produced by fiends. When a creature misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make an attack with the shield. If the attack hits, you push the creature 10 feet away from you in a straight line.
