Scopes help firearms by increasing their effective range and reducing range penalties. A scope can be attached to any kind of firearm. Each rank of scope increases the firearm’s normal and long ranges by 10 feet per rank for one-handed firearms and by 20 feet per rank for two-handed firearms and heavy weapons. In addition, you gain a +1 bonus on attack rolls made at long range. When using a sniper scope, you can fire only one piece of ammunition from it when you use an action, bonus action, or reaction to fire it, regardless of the number of attacks you can normally make.
