This thick, translucent liquid shimmers with whorls and bubbles of faint rainbow colors floating within it. A bottle of spellsurge syrup has a total of 7 colors in these whorls, and all or a portion of the potion it can be quaffed as a bonus action while casting a spell in the same round, consuming a number of colors equal to the level of the spell. The spell then takes effect as if cast at one level higher. The drinker cannot enhance a spell in this way unless they have enough colors left to match the spell’s level. Once all colors are gone, the potion’s power is expended. This potion has no effect on spells that are not altered by being cast at higher levels.
