This steel shield is sheathed in a silvery alloy of uncommon brilliance. Its gleaming surface cannot be affected by rust attacks, and it can be used to bash opponents as if it were a silvered weapon (treat as a club). In addition, in areas of normal or bright light, the wielder can use a bonus action to reflect the ambient light into the eyes of an adjacent enemy.

If that creature fails a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, their eyes are dazzled for 1 round, causing them to take a -1 penalty on attack rolls and Dexterity checks and saving throws and to have disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks based on sight.
