Wand of Conduction

Wand, rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster)

This crooked metal wand has 5 charges. While holding it, you can expend 1 of its charges to enhance a spell you cast that deals lightning damage, gaining a +1 bonus on your spell attack roll and increasing the save DC by 1.

If you are wielding the rod and you would take lightning damage, you can expend 2 charges from the wand as a reaction to gain resistance against that lightning damage.

When you cast a spell that deals lightning damage and affects an area, you can expend 3 charges from the wand as a bonus action to teleport yourself to anywhere within the spell’s area or into a square adjacent to its area. You are not harmed or otherwise affected by the lightning spell you cast.

The wand regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the wand’s last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand bursts in a cloud of sparks and ozone and is destroyed.
