Wand of Traps

Wand, rare

This stone wand is carved like a decorative column, yet close inspection reveals tiny hidden niches and symbols marking dangerous traps and safeguards. The wand has 3 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 charge to cast alarm or magic mouth or 2 charges to cast glyph of warding (3rd level). A glyph of warding inscribed with the wand is not permanent and fades away after 1d4 days if not triggered.

The wand regains 1d3 charges daily at dawn. If you expend the wand’s last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand self-destructs harmlessly with a muffled boom and a puff of smoke.
