Dwarf, Dark

While dark dwarves share many characteristics with their kin (which they derisively call “surface dwarves”), dark dwarves consider themselves forged from tougher material. Due to their proximity to infernal and malicious elemental forces, many dark dwarves become agents of chaos, though others reject these influences to focus on ale and mining.

Traits

You add your proficiency bonus to any Intelligence (History and Investigation) and Wisdom (Perception) check regarding stonework, such as identifying its workmanship or finding unusual construction. If you have proficiency in the aforementioned skills, your proficiency bonus is doubled for these purposes.
