Efreet

Efreet are a race of daemons, beings whose mortal ancestors were consumed and corrupted by elemental fire magic. They are metaphysically connected to fire and have hair made of flames. Daemons are corporeal on the Mortal Plane; however, the jinni class of daemon are considered distinct due to their ability to discorporeate, history of direct involvement with mortals.

Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Intelligence score increases by l.

Age. Efreet mature at the same rate as humans but live several centuries longer.

Alignment. Efreet have an innate tendency toward evil, but an independent nature inclines many toward a chaotic alignment.

Rarity. Rare.

Size. Efreet are about the same size and build as humans. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness within the same range as if it were dim light. Absent even dim light, this vision is monochromatic.

Enticing Entertainer. You have proficiency in the Performance and Persuasion skills.

Fire Form. Using your action, you can discorporate into non-igniting polychromatic fire, causing everything you’re wearing and carrying to transform with you. This form lasts while you focus on it, as if you are concentrating on a spell. You can enter and occupy the space of another creature. Other creatures can enter and occupy your space. You can move through any opening that fire can move through. In this form, you can’t manipulate objects, attack, or cast spells, and objects that transformed with you can’t be interacted with. You can use this ability again only after you finish a long rest.

Fireborn. You have resistance to fire damage, and you are vulnerable to cold damage.

Fiery Attacks. You know the produce flame cantrip. In addition to this spell’s normal uses, you can use it to make a melee spell attack, ending the spell and, if you hit, dealing its normal damage. Constitution or Charisma (your choice) is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

Heritage (Fiend, Tiefling). You are humanoid, but you are considered to be a fiend whenever it is detrimental for you. In addition, you meet the tiefling prerequisite for racial feats.

Infernal Legacy. You know the thaumaturgy cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the hellish rebuke spell as a 2nd-level spell once per day. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the darkness spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells, and you need no material components for them.

Speak with Fire. As part of a short rest, you can enter a trance to speak to fire, whether smoldering embers or a conflagration. While you do so, you are unconscious. Fire within 30 feet of you imparts impressions of what has happened around it, along with what it consumed or could not burn within range.

Languages. You speak, read, and write Common, Infernal, and the Jinni dialect of Ethereal.
