Kringle

Solstice. They can determine if someone is naughty or nice and can also magically squeeze through and compress into impossibly small spaces. Kringles can enter a home only if offered food by a resident.

Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score, your Wisdom score, and your Charisma score each increase by 1.

Age. Kringles initially age like humans but appear to be late middle-aged humans in their late teens, with white hair and faces marked by character and laugh lines. A kringle can live almost 2,000 years.

Alignment. A kringle is naturally kind, jolly, and wholesome. Kringles care for others, wishing only to bring joy and comfort. They are lawful good, and they expect others to strive for goodness as well.

Rarity. Legendary.

Size. If it weren’t for their aged appearance, little would distinguish a kringle from a human. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Athletic. You have proficiency in the Athletics skill.

Animal Friend. You have proficiency in the Animal Handling skill. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast animal friendship as a 1st-level spell once per day without material components. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

Compression. You can enter spaces small enough to admit Tiny creatures without squeezing.

Forbiddance. You can enter a residence only with an invitation from one of the occupants. You are considered to be invited if an occupant willingly leaves you an offering of food, such as cookies or milk.

Heritage (Celestial). You are humanoid, but you are considered to be a celestial whenever it is detrimental for you.

Mighty. Calculate your carrying capacity and the weight you can drag, push, and lift as if you were Large.

Naughty or Nice. You have proficiency in the Insight skill and can cast detect evil and good. Once you do so, you can do so again only after you finish a short or long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

Languages. You speak, read, and write Common and Elvish. Some kringles, native to the cold places of the world, learn Glacial.
