Lazari

Lazari are humans who have the metaphysical gift (or curse) of resurrection. A lazari who dies returns to life four days after, body and mind restored to the state they had been prior to death, though they can still succumb to old age. Lazari magic traces back to Lazarus, the immortal first of their kind, who uses his connection to the source of their blessing to exert control over his lineage, forcing his descendants to train in service to his order.
