Naga

Naga are large cobra-like beings with four arms. They seek to control the world by making pacts with powerful forces, hoping to secure their dynasties through force and oppression.

Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Intelligence score increases by l.

Age. After taking nearly a century to hatch, a naga reaches adulthood after 2 to 3 months and then lives upwards of 800 years.

Alignment. Vain and dispassionate, naga inflict harm on others when it suits their needs. Naga are neutral evil.

Rarity. Uncommon. After stopping evil cultists, conspiracies, or criminal empires, adventurers should not be surprised to find a naga was behind the scenes pulling the strings.

Size. Naga stand between 7 and 8 feet tall, though they may be 12 to 16 feet in total length, and weigh 400 pounds. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Constrictor. When you hit a creature within 5 feet of you with a melee attack on your turn, you can use a bonus action to attempt to grapple the target.

Four Arms. You have four arms and hands, and you can hold a corresponding number of items at the ready. Although these extra limbs allow you to wield more weapons, they don’t allow you to make more attacks than you might while wielding only two weapons.

Slither. You use only 5 feet of movement to stand up from prone, and you crawl at full speed. Moving through difficult terrain caused only by debris or low obstacles on the ground costs you no extra movement.

Snake Senses. You can sense heat and vibrations, granting you blindsight with a range of 5 feet.

Venomous Bite. You have fangs, and so your unarmed strikes can deal ld4 piercing damage. Your bite has the light and finesse weapon properties, and you have proficiency with it. If you score a critical hit with your bite, you deal ld4 extra poison damage, and the target must succeed at a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus) or become poisoned for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Languages. You speak, read, and write Common, Scalespeech, and Aquatic.
