Scyllan

Scyllans are a monstrous race with human torsos attached to dog-headed serpents. Though they can control these heads with effort, the serpents might act like domesticated dogs. The personality of a scyllan is said to be reflected by the type of dog head the serpents have.

Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 2.

Age. Although scyllans mature like humans, their serpent heads appear adult while the scyllan is still a child. Scyllans can live 300 years.

Alignment. Scyllans show a range of alignment, much like humans. Most prefer to live in peace with their neighbors and to enjoy life. Scyllans are often neutral or neutral good.

Rarity. Rare.

Size. A scyllan is between 7 and 8 feet tall, weighing over 300 pounds. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet. Also, you have a swimming speed of 30 feet.

Amphibious. You can breathe air and water.

Bite. Your canine serpent heads can bite, and so your unarmed strikes can deal ld3 piercing damage. Your bite has the light and finesse weapon properties, and you have proficiency with it.

Serpent Stability. You can add your proficiency bonus to checks and saving throws against being grappled, shoved, or knocked prone. If you have proficiency in such a check or saving throw, your proficiency bonus is doubled for these purposes.

Languages. You speak, read, and write Common and Monstrous. Many scyllans learn the Aquatic tongue.
