Unseen

The unseen are albino humanoids who have been injected with a special serum that bestows the ability to fade from sight. They are the end results of the original invisible man, who sought to create an unstoppable army. The results have been uneven at best.

The concept of invisibility has long haunted civilization. Without repercussions, what would a person do? The unseen are that test; some restrain themselves and use their powers to help the world. But others succumb to their basest impulses, knowing that they can escape the results of their unethical actions. The results have unfairly painted albino humanoids with all unseen, such that some albinos are persecuted merely by association.

The original creator of the invisibility serum was a brilliant, insane sociopath. His descendants are not necessarily imbued with his intellect but do have the advantage of being difficult to spot and surprisingly strong. How they use these talents varies by individual, but the more nefarious unseen have ensured that the group as a whole is rarely trusted.

As much as they are feared, the unseen are highly valued by the wealthy for their ability to sneak in and out of the most well-guarded fortifications. Their ability to strike in broad daylight makes them particularly dangerous.
