Vanara

Vanaras are a mischievous monkeyfolk native to jungle and mountain climates. They are touched by the divine, but their trickster nature leads them into pranks rather than piousness. They oppose the oppression of the gods and the folly of other mortals.

Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.

Age. Vanaras mature like humans, but they can live for several thousand years.

Alignment. Vanaras oppose oppression and rebel against authority, particularly of a religious or divine nature. They are free-spirited humanoids who try to lead others away from folly and dogmatism. Vanaras are chaotic good or chaotic neutral.

Rarity. Legendary.

Size. A vanara is similar in size to a human. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet. You also have a climbing speed of 30 feet.

Heritage (Celestial). You are humanoid, but you are considered to be a celestial whenever it is detrimental for you.

Jumper. Double the distance you can jump.

Mighty. Calculate your carrying capacity and the weight you can drag, push, and lift as if you were Large.

Natural Athlete. You have proficiency in the Athletics and Acrobatics skills.

Prehensile Feet and Tail. You can use your feet and tail as grasping limbs. Although these extra limbs might allow you to wield more weapons, they don’t allow you to make more attacks than you might while wielding only two weapons. Also, while using your feet as graspers, you cannot walk using them.

Languages. You speak, read, and write Common and Celestial. Many vanaras also learn Wildkin.
