Xenari

Xenari are a telepathic race of aliens whose ancient civilization learned to fuse magic and technology.

Their once great empire has fallen into disrepair, and now they plan a return to glory through science and innovation.

Traits

Ability Score Increase. Two different ability scores of your choice increase by 1.

Age. Xenari are adult by their late teens. They live about 150 years.

Alignment. Xenari society values honor, knowledge, and righteousness, alongside age-old customs. Although it is hierarchical, advancement is based on merit. Xenari hold fairness as a high ideal, and most are lawful good.

Rarity. Rare.

Size. A xenari is over 6 feet tall, but most are thin. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Alien Lore. You add your proficiency bonus to any Intelligence (History and Investigation) and Wisdom (Perception) check regarding technology and unusual devices, including traps. If you have proficiency in the aforementioned skills, your proficiency bonus is doubled for these purposes.

Environmental Adaptation. You can add your proficiency bonus to saving throws against environmental dangers, such as altitude, extreme cold, and extreme heat. Also, you add this bonus to any saving throw against exhaustion. If you have proficiency in such a saving throw, your proficiency bonus is doubled for these purposes.

Telepathy. You have telepathy with a range of 100 feet.

Telepathic Insight. Your telepathy allows you to sense the rising emotions in other creatures. You have proficiency in the Insight skill.

Xenari Training. You have proficiency in one Intelligence skill.

Languages. You speak, read, and write Common and Alien, as well as the unique Xenari language.
