4th-level transmutation

Classes bard

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: 30 feet

Components: V, S, M (a licorice candy)

Duration: Concentration, up to 5 rounds

When you cast this spell, choose up to 6 willing creatures you can see within range. You begin performing a complex and quick up-tempo piece that seems to get faster and more complex as you play, instilling the targets with its speed. You cannot cast another spell through your spellcasting focus while concentrating on this spell.

Until the spell ends, targets gain cumulative benefits the longer you maintain concentration on this spell (including the turn you cast it).

  • 1 Round: Targets double their Speed.
  • 2 Rounds: Targets gain a +2 bonus to their AC.
  • 3 Rounds: Targets have advantage on Dexterity saving throws.
  • 4 Rounds: Targets gain an additional action on each of their turns. This action can be used only to take the Attack (one weapon attack only), Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object action.

When the spell ends, a target can’t move or take actions until after its next turn as the impact of their speed catches up to it.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you may maintain concentration on this spell for an additional 2 rounds for each slot level above 4th.
