Aid From The Future

2nd-level transmutation

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: self

Components: V, S

Duration: Instantaneous

You call on your future self to aid you in the present. Drawing on the life energy of the “you” living twenty-four hours in the future, you regain one 1st-level spell slot and a number of hit points equal to 1d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier.

Exactly twenty-four hours after the casting of this spell, you lose 16 (3d10) hit points and are stunned for 1d6 rounds.

If you cast this spell but die without being raised before the twenty-four hours elapse, or if in twenty-four hours you are within the area of an antimagic field, or if something else prevents this spell from logically functioning after it has been cast, the temporal flux caused by the paradox makes you (and all allies who were within 30 feet of you when you cast it, regardless of their current location and condition) lose 27 (5d10) hit points and are stunned for ten rounds.

Once you cast this spell, you cannot cast it again until the twenty-four hours have passed.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, for each spell slot above 3rd, the level of the spell slot regained increases by 1, the healing increases by 1d8, the hit points lost after twenty-four hours increase by 5 (1d10), and the stun duration increases by two rounds.
