2nd-level transmutation

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Touch

Components: V, S, M (a pinch of salt and pepper)

Duration: Instantaneous

Classes: druid, ranger

You transform a single object weighing up to 20 pounds into an edible substance that any living creature can chew, swallow, and safely digest. Allfood has a bland taste and slightly gooey consistency when eaten regardless of its original nature. One pound of allfood provides enough sustenance to support a Medium creature for an entire day.

A Medium creature can eat up to 5 pounds of allfood before becoming bloated and overfull. A creature can continue eating but gains one level of exhaustion for every additional 5 pounds (or fraction thereof ) of allfood they eat.

You can affect a group of similar objects placed together, such as a pile of rocks, into allfood, but you cannot transform magical objects or objects made of rare materials such as precious metals, gemstones, or adamantine. You also cannot affect an item being worn, wielded, or carried by another creature. An object transformed into allfood can be eaten as if it were soft as bread, but it otherwise retains its normal solidity, weight, and durability.

Allfood does not change the temperature of an object, so eating a torch or hot coals may deal fire damage to the eater for 1 round as it is eaten, but once swallowed it becomes inert food.
