The camera remains in place for the duration. It has an armor class equal to yours and 1 hit point.

You can see and hear through this camera, using your component. Others can also see and hear if they can see your device.

Being a camera, it can be seen by others, but they may or may not react to it, depending on the situation, if they notice it, and how out of place it may be.
