You raise one hand with your fingers outstretched and palm facing your targets. Tiny cuts appear all across you palm and fingers, which release a small barrage of crystalized blood shards. Each creature in a 15-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 1d6 necrotic damage and 2d6 piercing on a failed save or half as much on a successful one. Additionally, you lose 1d4 hit points for each level of spell used.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the necrotic damage increases by 1d6 and the piercing damage increases by 1d6 for each slot above the 1st.
