Centipede’s Sting

Duration: 8 hours

You infuse the target’s skin with a toxic venom, marking it with a brightly colored tattoo of a centipede. The target gains advantage against effects that deal poison damage or the poisoned condition as long as this mark persists. In addition, the target can trigger the centipede’s sting as a reaction when they are struck with a melee weapon attack, dealing 3d10 poison damage to the attacker. A successful Constitution saving throw halves the damage.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a 6th level spell slot or higher, the damage from an explosive rune increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 5th, or you can store a spell one level higher than 3rd for each slot level above 5th.
