Conveyance

4th-level transmutation (ritual)

Casting Time:1 action

Range:Touch

Components:V, S, M (100 pounds of metal, all of which the spell consumes)

Duration:Concentration, up to 8 hours

You touch a piece of metal or a metal device weighing at least a hundred pounds, which transforms over the course of one round into a technological flying platform for you. You understand the controls and can steer the device using your action or bonus action each round. (If you make the platform stationary, it remains in place and does not need any attention until you decide to move it.) Over short distances, the conveyance has a flying speed of 40 feet, but by traveling in a generally straight line for at least a minute it can accelerate to about 50 miles per hour.

When the spell ends, the conveyance disassembles into rust and metal scraps; creatures on it fall if it is still aloft, unless they can stop their falls.

The conveyance has AC 19 and 27 (5d10) hit points.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the conveyance is larger and can carry one additional creature for each slot level above 4th.
