You create an illusion equivalent to major image that depicts you and all allies you wish to include that are within 30 feet of you at the time of casting. The decoy group mimics exactly what you and your allies do, but you can have the decoy group travel up to 500 feet ahead of you. The decoy group can adapts its movement slightly to follow the surface of the land (or water, if applicable), but if the terrain you are traveling on is significantly different from the terrain where the decoy group is, observers might automatically gain an Intelligence (Investigation) check to realize they are illusory. If a character in your actual group performs an action that would be impossible for their duplicate in the decoy group to perform, such as climbing a wall or tree (causing their duplicate to appear to climb on nothing at all), observers have advantage on their Intelligence (Investigation) check. If any creature in the actual group moves more than 30 feet away from you, their duplicate in the decoy group disappears.
