For the duration, you sense the presence of chaositech within 30 feet of you. If you sense chaositech in this way, you can use your action to see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area that has chaositech, and you learn its general purpose, if any (such as weapon, shield, power source, information, transportation, and so on).

The spell can penetrate most barriers, but is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.

Items fueled by firestone include steam-powered armor, battle carts, and steam carts.

The spell deadly carrier is a favorite of the members of the Plagueborn chaos cult.
