You know the current goal or desire of a creature you can see within range. The target must have an Intelligence of 3 or greater.

This spell reveals only the most pressing, important, or impactful goal or desire that is at the top of the mind of the target.

It doesn’t reveal any hidden or secret goals or desires, and it doesn’t reveal goals or desires the target wouldn’t already be willing to share with someone it trusts. A creature affected by this spell knows you used magic to learn something about it, and, at the GM’s discretion, it might become hostile toward you or seek retribution against you in some way in the future.

Once a creature has failed this saving throw, you can’t target it with this spell again for 24 hours.
