Enchanted Strike

Duration:Concentration, up to 1 minute

You speak ancient words of power as you touch your ranged weapon. The next time you make a ranged weapon attack during the spells duration, choose a damage type from the below list. Your attack does 2d8 damage of a chosen type in addition to the normal damage from the attack. The chosen damage type also causes an additional effect:

  • Acid: The creature must make a Constitution saving throw. If it fails, it’s AC is reduced by 2 until the end of your next turn.
  • Cold: Frost forms around the creature. The creature is restrained until the end of your next turn.
  • Fire: The creature is set ablaze and takes 1d8 fire damage at the beginning of each of its turns until it or another creature takes an action to douse the flames.
  • Force: The creature must make a Strength saving throw or be pushed back 10 feet and knocked prone.
  • Lightning: Lightning arcs from the creature. Every creature within a 10 foot radius of the creature must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 1d8 lightning damage on a failed roll, or half damage on a success.
  • Radiant: The creature is blinded until the end of your next turn.
  • Thunder: The creature is deafened until the end of your next turn.

At higher levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the additional damage for each effect increases by 1d8 for each slot above third.
