Freeze Air Or Water

You instantly lower the temperature to freezing of a 5-foot cube of air or water that you can see within range. When cast on water, the water freezes solid, and any creature immersed in the water when you cast the spell must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d8 cold damage. The resulting ice is also treated as difficult terrain for any creature moving across it. In temperatures above freezing, the ice remains for 1 hour for each cubic foot of volume before melting away.

The spell’s maximum area of effect increases to 10 cubic feet when you reach 5th level, 20 cubic feet at 11th level, and 30 cubic feet at 17th level.
