Ghost Wolf

Duration:1 hour

This spell conjures a Large, quasi-real, wolf-like creature made of roiling black smoke. The wolf is the size of a horse and maybe used as a mount or for combat (use a dire wolf as the base creature). The ghost wolf gains the following additional traits:

  • Damage Resistances acid, cold, fire, lightning, thunder; bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical attacks that aren’t silvered
  • Damage Immunities necrotic, poison
  • Condition Immunities charmed, exhaustion, grappled, paralyzed, petrified, poisoned, prone, restrained
  • Fear Aura. Any creature with fewer than 6 Hit Dice within 30 feet (except the ghost wolf’s rider) must make a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature that makes its saving throw is unaffected by the ghost wolf’s fear aura for 24 hours.
