Hibernation

2nd-level necromancy

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Touch

Components: V, M (a tuft of bear fur)

Duration: 1 hour (see description)

You hum a soothing melody and discard a bit of bear fur, which induces a soporific healing state in the next creature you touch. The target regains 1d6 hp and sleeps for 10 minutes per each hit point regained. If the creature is unwilling, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or fall asleep for the duration. At the end of each of its turns, the target can make another Constitution saving throw. On a success, the spell ends on the target.

Each creature affected by this spell falls unconscious until the spell ends, the hibernating creature takes damage, or someone uses an action to shake or slap the hibernating creature awake. Undead and creatures immune to being charmed aren’t affected by this spell.

At Higher Levels. If cast using 3rd-level or higher spell slot, you may touch one willing creature per level to induce hibernation.
