You meditate about a creature on whom you want to wreak vengeance. At the end of the meditation, you speak a single word of vengeance and reshape fate to bring you and the creature together.

When you cast this spell, fate makes sure that you two see each other in the upcoming year, but you do not know when.

When you meet, you have advantage on ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws against the creature until the end of the encounter. You can affect fate in this way for only one creature at a time. If you die before taking your vengeance and after you cast this spell, the quest of vengeance is given to another creature determined by the forces of good. This can be your loved one, closest relative, or another creature that the divine see fit.
