Host of Diminutive Humans

3rd-level conjuration

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: 60 feet

Components: V, S, M (a stick figure of a human)

Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

While in a settlement, you call a host of Tiny human-looking creatures to emerge from buildings, alleys, or sewers at a point you can see within range. The humans form into a swarm that uses the statistics of a swarm of poisonous snakes, except it has a speed of 40 feet and no swim speed. The host of humans is friendly to you and your companions. Roll initiative for the host, which has its own turns. The host of humans obeys your verbal commands (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any commands to the host, it defends itself from hostile creatures but otherwise takes no actions. If you command it to move further than 60 feet from you, or when the spell ends, the host disperses back into the settlement.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the host’s poison damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
