Hydraulic Lash

Conjuration cantrip

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: 30 feet

Components: V, S

Duration: Instantaneous

Class(es): druid, sorcerer, wizard

You conjure a surging wave of water that lashes out from your hand to strike one creature or 5-foot square. Normal fires on a creature or object or that fill the target square are extinguished but magical fires are unaffected. You also can make a melee spell attack against a creature within range. If the attack hits, the creature takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage and if the creature is Large or smaller, treat the result of your attack roll as if it were a Strength (Athletics) check made to Shove the target away from you. The spell’s damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th (2d6), 11th (3d6), and 17th level (4d6). You can choose to strike a creature, object, or square with the hydraulic lash without dealing damage.
