Imbue Weapon

Duration:1 minute

You channel magical energy into a melee weapon you hold. When you cast this spell, choose one of the following damage types: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, radiant, or thunder. For the duration, the weapon gains that damage type in addition to its normal damage type. The weapon also becomes magical, if it isn’t already. The spell ends if you cast it again or if you let go of the weapon.

At Higher Levels. You may choose an additional damage type when casting this spell when you reach 5th level, 11th level, and 17th level.
