Jitterbugs

2nd-level illusion

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: 30 feet

Components: V, S

Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

Classes: bard, warlock

You create an illusion in the target’s mind, causing it to to perceive itself as being covered in creeping, crawling, stinging bugs. This causes the target to become jittery and unable to stay still, forcing it to constantly move and twitch. If the target fails a Wisdom saving throw, it must move at least half its speed each turn and cannot remain still. If unable to move, it has disadvantage on all ability checks and attack rolls. Even if it is able to move, it has disadvantage on Dexterity checks and saving throws and cannot use the Dodge action. It has disadvantage on Constitution checks to maintain concentration on a spell when it takes damage and on any rolls it makes as part of a reaction, as its reflexes are confused by the constant overstimulation.
