Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

Classes: cleric, warlock

You surround the target with a glowing red aura of vengeful fate, leading it to take actions that throw its mind and body into violent reactions. Once per round when the target makes an attack or casts a spell, it must attempt a Constitution saving throw. If the save fails, the target takes 3d6 lightning damage and 3d6 psychic damage.

If the target scores a critical hit with its spell or attack, you can end the jolting portent as a reaction, causing it to be resolved as a normal spell or attack. Once the attack is resolved, the target is incapacitated for 1 round due to its mental shock at the sudden inversion of fate.
