You soothe the mind of the creature you’re touching, alleviating the effect of one madness for the duration. The duration of the madness is paused for the duration of this spell, and continues when the spell ends.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the duration increases by 2 hours for every slot level above 1st.
