This spell causes strands of shadow to radiate outward from a point that you choose within range. Shadows emanate from the floor, moving and flowing in a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on that point. While inside this area, creatures have disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks. If any of this spell’s area overlaps with an area of light created by a spell of 3rd level or lower, the radius of light emitted by that spell is cut in half and it only emits dim light. Casting this spell on the same spot every day for a year makes the effect permanent. At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell at 2nd level or higher, the spell’s radius is increased by 5 feet and the level of light spell affected by it increases by 1 for each level above 1st.
