Murder of Crows

1st-level conjuration

Casting Time:1 action

Range:60 feet

Components:V, S, M (wolf pelt)

Duration:Up to 1 hour

Classes: Cleric, Druid

Crows are legendary allies of wolves; wolves follow crows to look for fresh meat and crows follow wolves for a potential meal. This spell recalls the pact between the two species.

You summon three friendly swarms of ravens that appear in unoccupied spaces that you can see within range. The swarms disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends. Roll initiative for the summoned ravens as a group, which has its own turns. They obey any verbal commands that you issue to them (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any commands to them, they defend themselves from hostile creatures, but otherwise take no actions. The DM has the creatures’ statistics. At Higher Levels: For every spell slot you use to cast this spell above 1st level, you summon three additional swarms of ravens.

Note The material component for this spell includes a wolf’s pelt. The wolf’s pelt can be actually worn by the caster, but it must be taken from a canine (defined above) equal in Hit Dice to the caster’s level. Being a lycan in lupocephalus form also counts as “wearing” a wolf’s pelt.
