Peacebond

1st-level abjuration

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: 30 feet

Components: S

Duration: 1 minute

Classes: bard, cleric, paladin, warlock

You target a weapon on the target creature that is currently sheathed, slung, or otherwise stowed and not being wielded. If the target fails a Strength saving throw, that weapon is locked in place and cannot be drawn, readied, or wielded unless the target creature takes an action to make a Strength check against the spell’s save DC. Success draws the weapon and ends the spell. Regardless of success or failure, the target’s struggle with the peacebond weapon provokes opportunity attacks from adjacent enemies.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you can target one additional weapon (which may be on the same creature or a different creature within range) for each slot level above 2nd. Alternatively, if cast as a 2nd level spell, you can affect all weapons one target creature is carrying (other than those being wielded at the time of casting), and it has disadvantage on Strength checks made to draw a weapon.
